IOR’s new Split Fee Recruitment Marketplace, an “eBay for recruiters”

Described as an “eBay for recruiters”, professionals will be able to build their entire business from the network.

The IOR is launching its own Split Fee Recruitment Marketplace, exclusively for IOR members.

Described as an “eBay for recruiters”, professionals will be able to build their entire business from the network, much as virtual retailers have done with the online auction site.

The new marketplace will be the one-stop destination to work on split fees with other recruiters. All recruiters will be protected by an IOR legal agreement, enforceable by law, making it a safe place to do business. Fifty recruiters are already lined up to enter the marketplace along with a host of employers.

In addition to split-fee jobs, direct employers will be able to post live jobs onto the site, allowing recruiters to fill vacancies from clients who would normally only give work to their preferred suppliers. It can be very difficult to get on a company preferred supplier list. This way, you can work with a company you might not ordinarily be able to work with. On the flipside, a company can work with more recruiters, widening its net to find great people, without the burden of having to create and manage a deeper relationship.

The site has a host of features and connects to all major social platforms. The IOR Director General, Azmat Mohamed, says, “The marketplace is a new way to build relationships with clients of all kinds, in all locations around the world and a great place to win new business and enter new markets.”

The new Split Fee website is www.splitfee.org
