Recruitment and its future

South and City College Birmingham along with the Institute of Recruiters have put together some facts about the future of the industry.

With the economy starting to picking up and more jobs roles starting to be created it’s expected the recruitment sector will grow by 7.3% by December 2015.

Whilst growth can be an exciting and prosperous time, it can also bring with it a number of headaches for recruiters.

South and City College Birmingham along with the Institute of Recruiters have put together some facts about the future of the industry and the challenges we could all soon be facing.

However don’t start worrying just yet as we have also included some suggestions on how you and your business can stay one step ahead of rest.

Teresa Addinall, director of business services at South and City College Birmingham said: “It’s really been interesting to see how the industry has grown over the years and the impact it’s had across other industries. The fact recruitment has branched out into standalone areas in our curriculum and Apprenticeship areas says a lot.

“There’s also been a big shift in how it operates and with organisations coming together and working with the likes of the Institute of Recruiters – recruitment is become more and more credible in the way it operates year on year.”
