GatwickDiamondJobs.com has done a first class job in staffing up popular fast-food chain wagamama’s new flagship restaurant in Gatwick’s North Terminal.
wagamama’s recruitment marketing agency, Jupiter, posted vacancies for team members, chefs and a kitchen porter with GatwickDiamondJobs.com and the response was outstanding.
During the two month campaign, the job postings received 5,560 views and 306 people clicked through to apply for a position.
To boost interest and engagement, GatwickDiamondJobs.com ran a blog, placed banner adverts on the site and sent out an e-shot to the entire candidate database.
wagamama and Jupiter were delighted with the results. The Media Team at Jupiter said: “As far as GatwickDiamondJobs are concerned, you were far and away the best performer in terms of cost and clicks so big kudos to you and your team – great job. This was especially impressive as the other websites were one of the biggest generalist jobs boards and two of the large niche channels for the hospitality sector.”
Hannah Madigan from GatwickDiamondJobs.com said: “The wagamama recruitment drive was a great campaign to work on and I’m delighted that it was such a success. We drew on our knowledge of the local jobs market and network of contacts to ensure that the campaign received maximum visibility.”
The new restaurant is due to open this summer and will offer passengers a healthy breakfast menu that is unique to the airport, a pre-order and fast payment app and USB charge points.
