The Institute of Recruiters (IoR) has released its first quarterly report on the UK recruitment landscape. The report, which is available to download on the IoR website, sees figures and viewpoints from some of the recruitment leaders in the energy, IT and healthcare sectors, sectors that are leading the UK’s economic recovery and has been guided by surveys of IoR members. It also contains important legal information and guidance for anyone wanting to enter the sectors.
Azmat Mohammed, the IoR’s director-general, says, “What we hope to accomplish with this report is a single, quarterly, repository for all things recruitment-related, a one-stop shop for information on fees, wages and takeup. We also want to be able to provide up-to-date legislation and useful contacts.”
The report shines a light on crucial aspects of the industry including the skills shortage in the energy and healthcare sectors and the gender pay gap issue in the IT sector.
