Glassdoor reveals UK jobs paying the highest bonuses

Global Account Managers, Partners and COOs top the list

Glassdoor®, the world’s most transparent jobs and recruiting marketplace, today identified which UK jobs pay the highest bonuses.

According to Glassdoor’s latest report, Global Account Managers receive the highest bonuses in the UK. The #1 role could net an employee an annual bonus of anything up to £37,000, which is 34% above the UK‘s national average salary £27,6002. Partners and Chief Operating Officers complete our top three spots as they receive bonuses of £33,500 and £31,500 respectively.

Chief Executives round out the top five and Traders squeeze into the top 10 for this inaugural UK ranking. Diarmuid Russell, Glassdoor Head of International said:

“People traditionally think that those working in finance earn the biggest bonuses. Whilst finance roles such as Portfolio Managers, Traders and Brokers take five of the top ten spots, it’s interesting that they are nearer the bottom of our list. The earning potential of top sales professional is evident, with Global Account Managers taking top billing, and of course senior workers such as CEOs and COOs with greater experience and qualifications also doing well.”

According to Glassdoor’s recent UK Employment Confidence Survey4, the main bulk of bonuses are paid-out in December, with the second most popular period in April at the end of the fiscal year.
