MyPlus Consulting launches Disability Recruitment Toolkit

The toolkit is exclusive to MyPlus Recruiters’ Club members. Members also benefit from a Disability Café

MyPlus Consulting, one of the UK’s leading authorities in disability recruitment and development, launched its widely anticipated Recruiters Toolkit at the MyPlus Recruiters’ Club Annual Reception.

The MyPlus Student Recruitment Toolkit ‘Recruiting talented disabled students: from engagement to onboarding’ helps businesses understand what being a disability confident student recruiter means in practice, and what the practical steps are to achieve this.

The toolkit provides a step-by-step guide to achieving disability confidence in 8 key focus areas, enabling employers to easily understand what they need to do, and how to measure progress.

Helen Cooke Founder and Director of MyPlus Consulting said “In developing the Student Recruitment Toolkit, we wanted to define what we meant by ‘disability confidence’ in student recruitment and, more importantly, what it means for employers.

“It was important to provide employers with practical steps that they needed to be taking to achieve real success in recruiting and supporting students with disabilities.”

The toolkit comes as an in depth interactive pdf and a high-level desk calendar summary version, and provides details of specific activities recommended to enhance a company’s ability to attract and retain talented students with disabilities. The toolkit is exclusive to MyPlus Recruiters’ Club members. Members also benefit from a Disability Café, a highly interactive and practical style of workshop, on June 15th where they will learn how to use the new toolkit.
