The Floow announces partnership with Affecto Recruitment

Sheffield-based tech recruitment firm to help Telematics Company double its workforce following £13m investment

Yorkshire technology recruitment firm Affecto has been appointed to help The Floow double its technical workforce over the coming months following a period of rapid growth and success for the world-renowned telematics company which recently announced that it had received a £13m equity investment boost.

The move will see Affecto Recruitment continue its long-standing partnership with the firm on a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) basis in order to deliver its 2017 recruitment strategy; making an additional 40 – 60 new technical hires.

Daniel Koseoglu, MD for Affecto, said: “We have worked shoulder-to-shoulder with The Floow since its foundation in 2012 and are invested in the company’s vision to be the best work-place for all who aspire to harness sensors, software and data in pursuit of smarter and safer mobility.

“This latest partnership – during which we will deliver the firm’s 2017 recruitment strategy on an exclusive basis – will see us continue to identify and secure the most talented, creative and ambitious people in the technology arena on behalf of The Floow.”

David James, The Floow’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “This is a strategic decision for The Floow as we enter another period of rapid growth and expansion which has resulted in yet another recruitment drive to allow us to fulfil a plethora of technical roles at our Sheffield Headquarters.

“Having worked with Affecto since our foundation we are confident that they have the skills and expertise needed to manage this process for us and to identify the right individuals to join our team.”

The announcement follows a record quarter for Affecto, with sales up in excess of 200% on the same period last year and further growth predicted throughout 2017 as it aims to double its consultant numbers.

Founded in 2014 by Daniel Koseoglu, Affecto has firmly established itself as one of the region’s leading specialist agencies, and a key player in the local technology community – a corporate sponsor of Sheffield Digital which is dedicated to supporting the businesses and people operating within the city’s digital industries. Affecto also contributes to a wide range of technical meet ups and forums throughout the Sheffield region.
