The public beta version of the system is currently being tested by an international group of companies, recruiters and HR service providersInvestment fund LBDF, support provider Kickstart and the 8vance founders, have jointly invested in 8vance Matching Technologies, to provide the company with 2 million euro for innovation and growth.
The Limburg Business Development Fund, founded by the Province of Limburg (Netherlands), provides financial instruments to test, develop and market ideas with business potential. LBDF covers each stage in the development from idea to market with a mix of financial means.
Kickstart is the central point for innovative start-ups in the Venlo region. Kickstart connects start-ups with research institutes, technical experts, service providers and institutions, and all that is required to make a successful start-up.
Finding the needle in the haystack
8vance has developed a smart virtual assistant who, to a large extent, takes care of the long search process for the ideal candidate or job. The assistant named AIMA (Automatic Intelligent Matching Agent) is able to find talent and jobs faster and more efficiently on the internet, and can match them together.
AIMA can also find good candidates who are not actively searching for a new job. AIMA, which uses artificial intelligence and big data, also takes soft skills into account and is able to progressively make the labour market transparent.
