The Liverpool Based Agency Adlib provided the technical infrastructure to the 2014 International Festival of Business which led to Adlib securing 20 new clients.
Adlib invested over a quarter of a million pounds into new equipment for the 50 day festival over the summer, has seen the investment pay off. Director Mark Roberts reports that the agency has also been appointed as the preferred supplier at six new major venues across Liverpool, including the Liverpool Cruise Terminal, the Crown Plaza hotel, World Museum and the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
“IFB was the largest business event in which we’ve been involved to date, and something that is completely unique,” said Roberts. “We are exceedingly proud that Liverpool was chosen as the host city and also that we had the chance to rise to the many challenges and provide an unparalleled service to the required standards of excellence.”
Adlib won two tenders to create the IFB’s Trade and Investment Hub as well as the ‘nerve-centre’, which featured its own event programme. In addition, the company provided technical services and equipment for over 100 of the main events in the festival that had a focus on creating new international and domestic business-to-business relationships and commercial openings for UK companies of all sizes and sectors.
