A North West based web hosting and cloud firm is creating 50 new jobs in Manchester.
UKFast is looking for technical specialists in Windows and Linux as well as data centre engineers, as the firm says that they are on target to beat its £30m turnover target by the end of 2014.
Lawrence Jones, Chief Executive of UK Fast, said “We’re recruiting for more than 50 technical engineers across all areas of the business – from support engineers, to solutions architects who create bespoke hosting environments”.
“It’s an exciting time for UKFast; we’ve had a fantastic year so far which has enabled us to create more jobs than ever. The year started with an apprentice recruitment push and now we have a whole new wave of apprentices starting next month”
“I have long said that Manchester firms must step up and keep our skilled workers here, rather than leaving them no option to head to London. Now we’re able to do just that”
Last year UKFast moved to a new HQ in a landmark property worth an estimated £3.2m, and is now filling the 50,000sq ft space with a team of more than 220 staff.
