Up to 500 new jobs are to be created in Wrexham after a care provider landed a new contract with the local authority.
More than 135,000 hours of home care services will be delivered by Direct Health every year on behalf of Wrexham Council.

The company, part of the Accord Group, has said that the new roles being created will be filled by locally recruited staff over the next five years.
The services will include social and personal care will be provided to older people, young adults, children and families living in North Wales.
Jonathan Vellacott, chief executive of Direct Health, said the deal was part of a continuing relationship with the authority.
He said: “We are delighted to announce our continuing partnership with Wrexham Borough Council having worked in the area since the 1990s.
“We look forward to the opportunity to forge closer links within the local community and providing high quality care support across Wrexham borough, which in turn will create an additional 500 job roles for this region of Wales.”
The contract will start in June this year and run until 2020.
Direct Health provides care services to more than 6,000 people in the Midlands, North East and North West regions and into Wales.
