Employers are being urged to list the IOR Human Resources – HR qualification in HR job adverts to create a more inclusive hiring practice that attracts the best candidates for their business.
HR has evolved and there are now two main professional bodies in HR as the IOR further establishes its position. The IOR’s HR qualification is designed as a highly practical HR qualification and its delivery is now in full swing, being delivered nationally by 3 of Britain’s largest law firms, Eversheds, Irwin Mitchell and Hill Dickinson.
The IOR is confident that innovative and forward thinking HR directors will lead by example and begin including the IOR HR qualification in their job adverts, opening up their roles to more candidates.
Azmat Mohammed, IOR Director commented:
“If you want the best HR applicants you need to be inclusive and recognise that HR has moved on, and people are coming into HR via the IOR’s qualification too, it’s no longer a one qualification industry.
“If you don’t add ‘IOR’ as an accepted HR qualification on your Human Resources job adverts then expect this new breed of HR candidates to simply apply elsewhere.”
Experienced People and Change Consultant, Steve Bolton added:
“As a qualified HR professional with over 30 years’ experience I would accept the IOR qualification as a recognised qualification in people management.”
