The company is in the running for a number of new contracts and believes it could be the start of another expansion. The firm currently works with a range of clients in the retail and digital sectors.

Nic Marshall, managing director of ResQ, said the new jobs where permanent positions.

He said: “We’re taking people on in line with the new contracts. Hull is where we want to create our business and this is the first phase of growth.”

“Hull has a unique culture. People here want to do well and like talking”

Marshall added he expects strong growth to continue in the future: “In phase two there could be even more jobs. There are quite a lot of opportunities out there now that we’re chasing down”

“If we just complete two new deals of the four deals out there, that will see dramatic growth once again”

Marshall believes avoiding the lower end of the market of telesales, such as PPI compensation calls, has helped the company become a trusted brand.

He said: “The way we approach it is straightforward – we’re honest with our customers about expectations and when there are challenges in our business we talk it through and give them solutions.”
