The online jobs board Monster has unveiled new social recruiting services to the US, with plans to expand the service to the UK and Europe soon as part of a refreshed brand identity.

Among the new innovations that have been launched are TalentBin and Twitter Cards. TalentBin is a search engine that allows recruiters to identify, contact and recruit candidates by gathering professionally relevant information they share across social media networks and sites. The service then uses this content to assemble candidate profiles complete with contact information.

The result of this, according to Monster, is to provide recruiters with a pool of talent including those who never update or outdated candidate profiles. The firm said this opens up a pool of more than 100 million candidate profiles, in addition to Monster UK’s own database of three million searchable CVs.

Monster Twitter Cards extend the original Twitter character limits by adding media and information to tweets automatically. Information such as company name, job title, salaries, location and hashtags automatically. These branded extenstion of tweets can be used up to ten times a day for individual jobs announcements, with one summary tweet of all open jobs posted each business day.

Another service which was launched was Monster Talent CRM, a messaging service that allows recruiters to send emails direct to candidates in Monster’s CV database. This system uses the same tools as Monster’s 6Sense semantic search technology to identify, source and send messages to the best candidates.

A related product, MonsterCloud CRM, enables the deployment of these identification and connecting technologies on clients’ internal candidate databases.
