Could this be the end of job-hunting?

Your next job interview could be with a computer program

Future job searching may not involve too much effort on the part of the candidate. Instead, employers could rely on new technology that filters through public data to identify ideal employees to make hiring decisions – even using facial recognition algorithms to track for enthusiasm!

Traditional interviews with an interviewer and interviewee may be a thing of the past too. Video technology is already being used to recruit candidates, including the UK police force.  Job candidates can now upload video responses to interview questions instead of actual face-to-face interviews. New technology will detect non-verbal cues such as those facial expressions and tone while eliminating human bias.

Check out the Future of Work series over on the BBC website where Dave Lee takes a look at the various emerging technology meant to simplify the job recruitment process.
