Kids Allowed celebrates 15 years in business with a recruitment push

Kids Allowed, a nursery group based in Manchester, has announced its largest recruitment drive yet

Founded by Jennie Johnson, alongside a recipient of the M.E.N. Business of the Year prize, the nursery business was started in 2003. The group is recruiting apprentices and nursery nurses across its seven branches in Stockport, Cheadle, Wythenshawe, Macclesfield, Knutsford, Altrincham, and Christie Fields, Didsbury, where the company has its headquarters.

As one of Manchester’s female-led flagship firms, Kids Allowed proudly offers excellent rates of pay, and focuses on development and training of its staff. The firm prides itself on rewarding its employees for hard work, and has grown an exceptional team of talented, engaged and caring individuals who strive to provide the best care and environment for each child placed at Kids Allowed.

CEO, Jennie Johnson, has claimed that the extraordinary success of Kids Allowed is down to its existing team, and she hopes to find more impressive individuals to match their dedication and passion.

Recognised as true trailblazers within the childcare sector, the Kids Allowed Group will be opening an eighth centre in September at Trafford City. Featuring the city’s first Urbanscape green and environmentally-friendly roof system, a key factor in the £1.5 million enterprise, it is believed it will enhance the quality of the local air for the 106 children and workers of Kids Allowed.

Johnson has emphasised the need to nurture all aspects of the children they care for, with exceptional resources and environment, as well as a pedagogical approach and the best team possible to support the children’s mental and physical wellbeing. She believes that if the company attracts, upskills and retains great, talented employees, they will go on to accomplish great things.

The children at Kids Allowed are encouraged to flourish into confident, happy, inquisitive and resilient young people, who develop a lifelong thirst for learning. The centre is particularly interested in hearing from applicants that are excited about how Kids Allowed uses different approaches and methods.

With over 450 childcare professionals caring for approximately 2,000 children across its seven centres, Kids Allowed has seen 3,000 children in Cheshire and Manchester graduate over its 15 years in business. The firm specialises in caring for young babies up to children aged five years old.

Jennie Johnson, although proud of the Kids Allowed clearly defined pedagogy, first-class facilities and top-of-the-range resources, that the childcare business only achieves the very best by employing talented and dedicated people. Johnson believes that when these factors come together, it creates magic and a truly successful childcare business.
